This autumn, the people of Germany will get the telecast of popular channels TNT Film and TNT Series in High definition quality. Turner Broadcasting System, which telecast these two channels has announced regarding the same. The content of these channels will be scheduled in HD, in which consolidation of native HD content along with other programmes would be presented to viewers. However, gradually the number of original programmes in HD will be increased.

Hannes Heyelmann (MD, TBS Germany) said in Munich that, “We are proud that the German-language market is the first market in Europe in which Turner will launch HD channels.” He further added, “This shows our clear commitment to the German pay-TV market in which Turner sees large potential.”
