Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment (WDSHE) has launched an online Disney movie portal, “Disney Movie Club”, designed to deliver the blockbuster hits from the house of globally popular world of Disney right to the home of Indian fans. As the service has been introduced along with HDFC Bank, the membership of this movie club is thus initially available exclusively to the customers of the bank. The exclusivity period begins from July till October 2010. Whereas, beginning November 2010 the site will become available to kids and families across India.

Interested fans can log onto the site www.disneymovieclub.in and register to be a member. Memberships last for 12 months and provide access to the largest collection of Disney movies, offers, discounts and promotions. Disney movie fans can choose from three different memberships that offer a variety of benefits. Currently, enrolling in a Mickey Gold Pass membership gets you a free DVD player to play your Disney favourites on DVD. The three passes; Mickey Gold pass, Donald Silver pass and Goofy bronze pass currently all come with free gifts.
