The BBC has commenced the second phase of its “radio visualisation trial”, adding webcam streams, images and information feeds to its radio shows. Content will be presented through a pop-up console before being extended, later in the trial, to a mobile phone application. Listeners to the supported shows will be able to watch what’s happening in the studio and read comments from other listeners.
