Venugopal Dhoot, chairman, Videocon Industries, has decided the launch date for his much-talked about business -DTH venture to April 27, 2009. Videocon officials said the company is targeting consumers who purchase the TV with an integrated DTH STB. To be called D2H+, the new service promises a newage satellite TV platform that will make use of revolutionary technology. With over 1,050 distributors and 75,000 retailers, Videocon is ensuring a strong sales network and has been recruiting sales and service staff through its media arm, Bharat Business Channel.
