Reliance Communications (RCom) is in advanced stages of negotiations with Telecommunication Infrastructure Company (TIC), Iran’s leading telecom service provider, to set up two cable landing stations in the country. The firms are likely to sign a Rs 300-crore pact. RCom intends to land its Falcon cable system at Bandar Abbas (in Hormozgan province) and Chabahar (in the Sistan and Baluchestan province) in Iran. The firm will sell bandwidth to TIC, which in turn, will resell it in Iran, sources said.
